Commissioned N/A by Natural Peak // N/A
Guru Shikhar, the 'Peak of the Guru', is named after Guru Dattatreya, an incarnation of the Divine Trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva). It is a site of immense spiritual significance, where it is believed the saint resided as a monk. His sanctified footprints are enshrined within a small cave temple at the very summit, attracting pilgrims throughout the year.
The summit is crowned by the temple dedicated to Guru Dattatreya. The structure is modest, reflecting the ascetic nature of the saint it honors. To reach the top, visitors ascend a winding path of approximately 300 stone steps, offering intermittent views of the Aravalli range before reaching the high-altitude observation deck.
